MCP Setup Guide
Bring Anjin Radar's data into your own AI. Ask claude.ai, Claude Code, Cursor or Codex in plain language about growing AI tools, revenue signals, keywords, trending terms and backlink sources.
Captain plan and abovehttps://anjinradar.com/api/mcpWhat can you ask?
Once connected, your AI combines Anjin Radar's tools on its own and runs multi-step lookups for you. Mention "Anjin Radar" in your question to make sure it uses this data. For example:
Step 1
Choose how to authenticate
Every client uses the same MCP URL; only the authentication differs. Both options share the same limits and require the Captain plan or above.
OAuth (recommended)
For apps with remote connectors such as claude.ai and Claude Desktop, and for Claude Code. Add the URL, then sign in and click Authorize on the Anjin Radar page that opens. No key to copy.
API key
For clients that let you set request headers, such as Cursor, Codex and VS Code. Create a key (sk_..., up to 5) in Settings → API Keys and send it in the Authorization: Bearer header.
Step 2
Configure your AI client
Pick your client and follow its steps. Replace sk_... in the examples with your own key.
- In claude.ai, open Settings → Connectors and click "Add custom connector".
- Enter any name (for example, Anjin Radar) and the URL
https://anjinradar.com/api/mcp. Leave the rest empty. - Click Connect, then sign in and authorize on the Anjin Radar page. Afterwards, enable the connector from the tools menu in a chat.
Connectors added on claude.ai also sync to Claude Desktop and the mobile apps. You can revoke connected apps anytime under "Connected apps" in Settings → API Keys.
When it works, the client lists Anjin Radar's 7 tools and shows anjinradar as connected. You only set this up once.
Step 3
Ask in plain language
No tool names or parameters to remember. Ask as you normally would and the AI decides which tools to call and how to combine them. It usually reaches for them on its own when you ask about AI sites, revenue signals, keywords or backlinks; mention "Anjin Radar" to be sure. Each call returns 10 rows by default to save context; ask the AI to page for more.
