Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how the operator of this service ("we", "us") handles personal information in Anjin Radar ("the service"). Anjin Radar is a subscription intelligence service that tracks growing AI product websites and publishes rankings, datasets, a REST API, an MCP server, and a daily email digest.

Information We Collect

We collect the following information to run the service:

1. Account information: your name, email address, password (stored hashed), and profile settings you provide when you sign up or use the service.
2. Usage information: which rankings you view, your search and filter criteria, API and MCP request history, and sign-in activity.
3. Device and connection information: IP address, browser type, operating system, and device type.
4. Cookies and similar identifiers: used to keep you signed in, remember display preferences, and understand how the service is used.
5. Payment information: card details are collected and held directly by Stripe, our payment processor. We never store full card numbers on our servers. We keep only transaction records such as the plan, amount, billing date, and payment status.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide the service, authenticate you, manage your subscription, and process payments.
• Deliver rankings, datasets, API and MCP responses, and the daily digest, and improve their quality.
• Answer support requests and send important service or security notices.

Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your language and display settings. We also use analytics tools such as Google Analytics to understand traffic in aggregate. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some signed-in features may stop working.

Sharing With Third Parties

• Payments: Stripe, for card payments and subscription management.
• Email delivery: an email provider that sends newsletters, the daily digest, and account notices.

• To comply with lawful requests, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or others.

International Transfer

Some of these providers are based outside Japan, so your information may be processed and stored on servers in other countries. We choose providers that apply appropriate safeguards and handle transfers in line with applicable law.

Retention and Security

We keep account information while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward. Billing and transaction records are kept as long as accounting and tax rules require. Usage data and access logs are deleted or anonymized after a set period.

We use HTTPS encryption in transit, hashed passwords, least-privilege access controls, and periodic reviews. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable export (CSV and similar formats) of your personal information, and you may ask us to restrict certain processing. Children

The service is not intended for children. Anyone below the age at which they can consent to online services in their country should use it only with the consent of a parent or guardian, including on paid plans.
